The Capital Health Auxiliary with the help of Rolling Harvest, an organization that partners with local farmers to share their excess produce with people in need, will be hosting 6 farmers markets this summer for patients at the Family Health Center in Trenton. These clinics provide an important resource to some of the area's most vulnerable residents. These patients will receive vouchers from their doctors, nurses or dieticians for food.
In support of this event, CHATS Club will be collecting resuable shopping bags through June 14th. Donations can be dropped off outside the main office and media center in the collection bins.
